Hey, I'm Jessica.

I've always had an affinity for arts and crafts. As a kid, weekly trips to craft stores were the norm, getting my hands into a variety of materials—from clay to bookbinding to crochet and everything in between. After a brief stint in business, I returned to my love of design in college, where I gravitated towards product design. The opportunity to make an impact designing for large audiences, grounded in research rather than pure subjectivity, appealed to me. The deeper I get into this field, the more I find myself loving the work I do.

As I've journeyed further into product design, I've come to understand it as a means for communication and conversation between creator and end-user. Within my work, I explore how digital interfaces can facilitate this dialogue and push the boundaries of what's possible to create more meaningful connections.

I'm currently a junior at the University of Texas at Austin, double-majoring in Informatics and Design. Some recent places of work include Paycom, Longhorn Developers, and Texas Convergent. I'm always looking to contribute to meaningful projects and connect with new people—feel free to reach out!
